I have been working overseas for more than 12 years, in the Middle – East area (UAE, Egypt, Iran, and even Iraq) and African areas, like South Africa, Tanzania, and Zambia. I have seen the lighting market, with different market situations and many issues in common.
With the LED chip and sealing technology fast developing, the lighting technology has matured in the industry, which unfortunately led to many price wars for all manufactories. We saw some manufactory focusing most of their energy on the cost down, sometimes sacrificing the specs, material, and lifetime to make the products cheaper and easy to sell.
